Paulina Kondraskov-Hölzer sees herself as
botanical woodcarver.
Her knowledge of local flora and her curiosity about craftsmanship have accompanied her on her journey since 2015. self-taught path into woodcarving and woodturning.
Thus she continually discovers a boundless variety in the structure, properties and application possibilities of our native woods.
Paulina collects Fallen timber in Stuttgart, where she currently lives, and creates small and large works of art.
Inspiration usually comes from Elements of nature.
Their current focus is on creation surreal objects. Under the pressure of practicality, natural forms, pop-cultural silhouettes, and autobiographical reflections merge.
Her
enthusiasm for trees, wood, tools and the wide world of woodcarving, she gives in her
courses further.
